DESCRIPTION:<p></p><p>This is a 2 hour outreach program being given to the 8th graders at Pacific St Charter School in Placerville\, CA. Students will discuss and learn about the difference between comets\, meteors\, and asteroids\, build comet models from water and dry ice and through active learning exercises understand concepts such as meteor showers\, etc. </p>
